New Bulbs

MeGA volunteers dug 60 holes for narcissi bulbs, and last Friday 25 children from Victoria Primary School planted up half of them in torrential rain. Today, in autumnal sunshine another 25 children planted the rest. They were great kids, very enthusiastic and well behaved - a credit to their school and to Jola, their amazing teacher. They learnt about the Memorial Gardens, the new Memorial, the significance of white flowers for peace, the parasol fungi and some of the trees. Thankyou children for your help with the planting. We look forward to seeing you in the spring to admire the narcissi!
