The Past Month in The Gardens in Pictures and Words

I'm hoping to upload to the blog, once a month to give a flavour of what we have been doing and some pictures of the gardens and our hard working volunteers. Maybe some info of what has been seen during the wild garden survey, and cake recipes if anyone wants to share them.

My first post is a bit light but hope to make it more interesting in future months.

Despite the heat and changeable weather over the past  months, our incredible team of volunteers has continued their valuable work in the gardens. We have been weeding to keep paths and flower beds tidy, replanting to refresh areas and thin out some plants and pruning and clearing of dead foliage to maintain the health and beauty of the plants.

Our efforts have kept the Memorial Gardens looking serene and tidy for all who visit, as has been commented on by visitors to the gardens.

And we had a summer picnic.

Till next month.
